Practicalities
There are a few things you should know before you travel to Bali, in particular about visa requirements and accommodation options.
Visas
Citizens of the European Union (including the UK), Australia, the USA and Canada and many other countries are eligible for visa-free entry for 30 days. As the CertTESOL is a one-month course, participants wishing to stay longer can apply for a 60 day tourist visa, or a 60-day social and cultural visa at the Indonesian Embassy in your country. This 60 day visa can NOT be issued on arrival. The 30-day visa-free entry stamp cannot be extended, but the US$35 30-day visa can be extended at the Immigration Department. For further information on visas for Australians, New Zealanders, Americans, British, and Dutch citizens, click on the relevant link below.
